Dr. Anton Popov is the Head of Biomedical Electronics and Signal Analysis Group in National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”, and has over ten years experience in applications of mathematical methods to biosignal analysis.

During the seminar the outline of current projects of Biomedical Electronics and Signal Analysis Group will be presented and topics for joint research activity will be suggested:
* epileptiform pattern localization in electroencephalogram using adapted mother wavelet functions and template matching;
* analysis of electroencephalogram nonlinear characteristics for epileptic pattern prediction;
* heart rate variability analysis for detection of apnea episodes and sleep staging;
* contactless respiratory signal measurement and analysis for ICU;
* approach to early Alzheimer Disease diagnostics using MRI image analysis;
muscle synergies detection.
